Collect attachments from multiple thoughts.
I need a way to be able to collect individual attachments from multiple thoughts into one location.
The example is that I have many individual thoughts for employee ID photos. As it is now I have to select all those thoughts, copy, paste into new brain. Open Explorer and search for the file type in that brains directory to collect all the attachments. Perhaps we can have a context menu item in the selection pane that allows us to "collect attachments" under one thought as COPIES. The thought could be the parent or a newly created jump thought to the parent.

Any chance this could get another look. I think if there were some way on the selection window context menu to "collect attachments" then copy them into a new thought then they could easily be moved, copied, emailed whatever from that thought. Then when you are done with them you simply delete that thought but all the original attachments stay in the original thoughts.

Often, I need to share the attachments from a parent and multiple child thoughts with colleagues that do not use personalbrain or prefer receiving files from me in a hierarchical file structure. (no, they are not very enlightened colleagues) Currently, there is no way of copying multiple attachments from multiple thoughts. When you have to copy 25 to100 or more files, opening and copying each attachment one thought at a time can be very tedious and time consuming. I hope my brain can get smarter at doing this in the future.

Yeah, I suppose it is kind of the same idea except that I want to keep the individual thoughts intact during and after. I just want to COPY the attachments to another thought. The Merge sounds like it would destroy the original thoughts for the new one. It would be part of all those 'batch' functions that were being suggested in those threads.

Maybe this function could work here?
