Showing Link type
Currently, the link type label will show up when the mouse is over the child thought . Please make it also shows up when the mouse is on the parent thought. In addition, a hot key that can quickly switch on/off all the link type would be great.
One step further, it would be great if all the connecting links of the same type will be highlighted ( and type shows up ) when the mouse is on one link. Animation could be added to mimic the nerve impulse propagating through the neurons (thoughts). It shows how one thought propagates from one to others just like "train of thoughts". Wow! it must be cool and useful.
This feather would be more useful when the "direction" of link is able to be specified.
Version 7 includes more options for link label display plus lots more

I would also like to see such a feature since I extensively use link types (e.g. PERSON teaches EXERCISE, PERSON is_founder_of ORGANISATION, PERSON is_member_of ORGANISATION, etc.). Just coloring is not enough and hover over is not usefull.

Actually, the link type "label" will only show on the link between the focused (centered) thought and mouse-over thought. What I proposed is that: when mouse is on one thought and all the connected links light up (currently implemented) and all the link types are also shown (requested here) whenever links are highlighted.
