Please remove “Make Public/Make Private” drop-down menu option from TheBrain 7
or at least put in safe-guards that prompts the user whether they are absolutely sure they want to change their brain security settings. I’m terrified of my personal (private) data brain being made public by a program bug or having accidentally selecting the “make public” option from the drop-down menu. It really needs to provide a confirmation box rather than simply toggling between private/public without any sort of “are you sure?” dialog. I don’t think toggling a brain between being private and publicly available should be so easy. Once your private data is made public, it’s too late.

Sorry - I would like to retract my suggestion. I jumped to a conclusion about the menu option’s functionality, having forgotten that it only affects the visibility of the current selection within publicly available brain. I’ve flagged the idea as inappropriate in order for it to be removed.
