Enhanced possibilities to allocate a type/tag
Certain tags and types are constantly used. It would be nice to have more ways to allocate them to a thought, for example:
- possibility to create buttons on the toolbar
- enhanced keyboard accelerators: After ctrl+T you can type the first letter of the type.
Typed once will give the first type with that letter, typed twice the second, etc. "D" for a document, etc.
"Enter" allocates the type (or tag)

Adding tags by Keyboard would be a great advance.

TB6 has made some progress by allowing to allocate a type/tag when creating a child. However, the allocation is still slow since users have to use the mouse instead of being able to use the keyboard.
Optimally, while creating a thought you should be able to:
- Use ctrl+T or shft+ctrl+T to unfold the drop box for tags or types
- Once unfolded, type a letter to jump to the first tag with this letter, as explained in my first post.
