    Search my C:\ for . containing "phrase"

    I would like a search capability resembling the above where I can subsequently link thoughts to files or images found etc. The tool would be accessed via the existing icon bar (and located next to the "search brain icon")

  2. Icon Spacing

    I would like to be able to customize the spacing of Icons on the Icon bar.
    The existing left arrow has too small an active zone

  3. Synchronize Windows Explorer Folder Structure

    Maybe there is a way of doing this already
    (please advise if true, & I will delete this etc)

    I would like the option of importing an entire section of my PC folder structure into PB
    -then reorganising the enitire structure from within PB
    -then selecting a yes button
    - then seeing the changes effected in my windows explorer / folder strucure

    An example of how I would most like to use this function would be to reorganise the contents of my digital photo library
    This would include the ability to create new folders and copy paste files between folders…

    Help / About Personal Brain

    It would be interesting to have a live summary somewhere in the Help menu, revealing the number of PB users per Country (but listed in relative order of number per Country-Population)

  7. Insert Recent Date

    Instead of just the
    Insert / Date and Time

    How about an additional sub menu option that displays a chooser table of the most recent week past, with list of Week days at left and matching Calendar Date on row right.
    Click on the desired day, and that date is inserted in thought text.
    (Saves remembering what date was last Tuesday etc)

  8. New version is available / Change dialog box

    An option to ignore updates for a chosen period of time would be useful
    (Also a prominent link could be placed on the above dialog box pointing to the specific details / changes documented on the Brain website

  14. Blank thought spacers *

    I would like the option of inserting a blank thought between two heirachial links. This would serve as a spacer between child and a busy parent (example = a particular parent or parents that you dont want cluttering the screen).
    A suggested way of implementation...
    Type the character * (as a thought name)
    * now = a Blank thought
    Each new * becomes a unique (blank thought) instance and when entered between new links is in no way associated with previous linkages etc

  16. Notes Screen < > Buttons in Title Bar area

    An essential feature for tabbing through all the Children of a Parent thought (in the current order of [arrange thoughts by]) This idea could also be activated by a double right click function on the Notes Tab (to tab in forward direction)
    When you raech the last of (example 20) child thoughts, you jump to the first again. This function would be available in Notes Screen maximised or minimised etc

    An additional option...
    Arrange thoughts alphabetically by what appears in brackets, anywhere in Title
    Example, 2 Titles =
    Angie (The Rolling Stones)
    Dream Number 9 (John Lennon)

    Brain would sort according to Artist,
    and not name of song

  18. Delete blank lines / New WP Button

    In the notes screen I sometimes import the contents of various emails or text documents. A button that when clicked, would eliminate all blank lines in the result would be useful

  19. Linking thoughts to tags

    The ability to link any existing Tag as the child of any Thought. (If the Parent is tick boxed with the associated tag type then the same thought [appearing beneath the tag] would be differentiated in some unique way etc)

    especially as we publish our .brains and may not want to disclose all of the connections we're making.
