An error occurred while saving the comment Brent commentedI work for a company that produces several software products, and I use TB as my repository for all company-produced product documentation. I'd like to structure my 'product related' Thoughts in a certain way, but I can't because doing so would make using Instant Activation (IA) impossible because IA currently shows only two levels of Thoughts.
If IA supported more levels (via a user option), then I could structure my product related Thoughts like this: Products > ProductA > Documentation > 1.1; Products > ProductB > Documentation > 1.1. Then when I type 1.1 into IA to view a specific product's documentation, I would know which Thought to select because the product name would be included in the output list as the third level. But with the current two-level support, I would only see "1.1 Documentation", "1.1 Documentation", so I wouldn't know which one to select.

I've found a work-around for number 1, though both the process and the results could be improved if this feature were designed into TB. If you have multiple files in a Thought, yet you want one particular image file to appear when you hover over the icon, then edit the Thought and go to "Select Icon File" and, of course, select the image file. Besides being a cumbersome process, the drawback to this method is that the displayed image has a large number in the lower right corner depicting the number of files in the Thought. (Normally you want this, but not during a presentation.) The file selection could be made easier by making it a right-click option, and there could be an option (per Thought) to not display the number of files on the icon. Really, this is all that's needed to implement the feature requested in item 1.
