    You have left! (?) (thinking…)

I agree that acknowledging the act of setting the home thought would be considerate. In general, I think that all state-changing actions should be acknowledged. Gives kind of a warm "yes, it happened" feeling to the interface. Adding to dyslucksia's suggestion, I would vote for providing for especial attributes for the home thought -- attributes such as a special color, a different font, a unique icon, etc.

Open "Six Degrees of Music History", switch to Outline View, and activate "Carmine Appice", for example. This thought, as well as many others, is intricately linked to several levels in the brain. The new outline view does a good job of displaying that multi-level linkage.

I don't find this to be the case at all. (I'm running PB 5.0.2.8 on Windows XP.) When I create a new thought, PB suggests existing thoughts and tags (as it does with Instant Activation), and tags are distinguished with the special tag icon.

Great idea! As a refinement, auto-tag all Read Only thoughts so easy to find them all.
