Support just gave me a trick. If you click the X on the creating Brainzip window, the process is done in the background and PB becomes usable again.
Not the solution I wanted but a stop-gap until they implement this.

I have not tried using Dragon Naturally Speaking with PersonalBrain yet. Maybe an idea would be for TheBrain to develop a custom speechpack for Dragon with Nuance Communications.
A Speechpack would allow a user to perform various PB specific functions via voice control using Dragon. Maybe there could be a special Bundle pack of Dragon with this speechpack for PB Pro users. I know I would buy it. -

File Explorer allows you to browse files in your personal computers operating system. This is an important function that can not be easily overridden by an app. What exactly are you looking for? Can you describe your thoughts?
What would be the purpose of this new browsing scheme?

How would you format Brain data exported to Excel? Not sure there is a way to make that data useful.

I think support for IE, FF and Chrome should be the priority. Check out the Browser Marketshare numbers here: http://marketshare.hitslink.com/browser-market-share.aspx?qprid=1

Chrome: 7.98%
Safari: 5.27%
Opera: 2.39%Based on market numbers, I am not sure Opera support is a worthwhile investment for The Brain

I love this idea and wanted the same thing. With a decent OCR, many users may even move from services like Evernote to PB. I would like to see a multilingual OC engine that can recognize photos, PDFs and handwritten notes.

And maybe we can have "Mind Map mode" where we can create a mind map without the location specific limitations of PB (parent, child, sibling, jump), with the above recommendations and then attach that to a throught in the plex.
Right now I have to use a MINDmap tool and PB. I would love to move to just 1 common tool.

I like this idea. My preference would be for PB to cache a snapshot of the webpage when you imported it. Making this available ifa nd when needed.
