tag and type best fit
Allow typing the first few letters in the tag/type selection window to highlight the appropriate tag or type. This would speed up workflow, especially when you have a long list. :)

Add a "Snooze All" button to "Past Due Events and Reminders" window
The "Snooze All" would, like "Snooze", adopt the time set in the "Remind again in" field. Hint: To do this now, one must [try to] mark all the events [by first tabbing out of the "Remind all" field and then pressing CTRL+A or by some fancy mouse+keyboard work] and click on "Snooze".
It even looks like this has been intended by the developers: look at all that wasted space! You could put the "Dismiss" and "Dismiss All" buttons on the left hand side and "Snooze" and "Snooze All" on the right hand side.

Add "Copy Path to Clipboard" menu option to Though menu and context menu
As I use Personal Brain to store nearly everything, I frequently open the folder just so I can get the path to the folder so I can save a new file in PersonalBrain. (Created by other applications)
Having a copy path to the clipboard would be very convenient.

in-line images in notes
The fact that images only seem to be able to captured in thoughts as attachments is a HUGE oversight...
Yes you can have one per thought as some sort of preview but to adequately explain a concept I want to be able to have inline images separated by text.
Evernote does this perfectly well which is why I have failed in my attempts to move away from it. This is a real shame because TheBrain's structure /visual mind mapping aspect is it's real selling point.
Nothing depresses me more to see that this basic UI requirement hasn't even made it…

Disable editing of thought when out of focus.
... or change the layout or make another design so that the following does not happen
When I want to edit the thought name the cursor might move over another thought (name field is very close to recent thoughts anyway)
and I edit the wrong thought without realizing at first what happened. After I move the cursor again it is difficult to fix this action. An undo shortcut can also come in handy in this case and several others.

implement IMPORT feature for notes
implement IMPORT feature for notes: e.g. this way: 1st line=Thought name, then a delimiter (or first Linefeed after first textline; any line(s) following this first one should be the note itself. In order not to complicate coding, you could restrict it to plain txt format. I use to take a lot of notes, often outside PB (or on another PC), so it would be very handy to import them all at once.
Regards
Julian7 votesVersion 6 includes the ability to import a text outline including notes. See the release notes for more info.

Sync iCal and TheBrain Calendars.
It would eliminate 'double duty' if a sync was created between iCal and TheBrain. Currently they perform separately which causes mistakes in large volumes of planning activities.
7 votesThis is now possible via sync with Google calendar inversion 6.

Address Book compatability for Mac users
This is a BASIC feature that is available for users of Outlook on PC's, but not for Address Book users on the Mac. Having duplicate information in PB and Address Book is confusing and it is time consuming to keep both up-to-date. Please help!
6 votesThis is already done… See the Mac section of the PB 5 user guide. Search for a name and the result from Address book will appear in the PB’s results list, then click “Add” to add it to your Brain.

Scale plex to available area
Hi
I find trying to print or view plexes annoying because there's no way to fit a plex to the available output area. I would love something that allowed me to say 'fit to page' and have PB automatically scale the current view to fit for both the screen and paper.
6 votesWe are working on improving this aspect of printing. Fit to paper size is the default setting when printing in the upcoming release.

Implement feature-rich calendar and tasks functionality
Now that you've started down the road of including calendar and tasks functionality (a great idea), it would be tremendously powerful to have a full-fledged version of each comparable to such functionality as in an application like Outlook - recurring events, adjustable reminders, locations, connections to contacts, and the like.
Without such comprehensive functionality, there's not much of a reason to use the calendar and tasks features in PersonalBrain. Might as well just beef up Outlook integration.
6 votesRecurring events, locations, separate reminder/event times, time spans, etcetera are all included in the upcoming release.

Search the Calendar
I would lke to be able to search the calendar to find a meeting. Either that or entering a thought name automatically titles a calendar event or vice versa

Multiple Types
Hi, types in thoughts allow for quickly recognizing what a thought is all about or its state, kind, nature.
Having the ability to assign multiple types to a thought would allow for powerful rich visual meta information not possible currently with tags, for instance lets say I want to add meta information about a contact, so I can say Nationality > American and have an american flag icon added to that contact, Gender > Female and have the women icon added automatically, Profession > teacher and have the teacher added automatically, so whenever I look at that thought I can…
6 votesThought tags in TheBrain 9 allow you to add icons to thoughts exactly as described.
