We need a powerful note editor like Typora
I hope you can refer to the markdown software Typora.
Its mathematical functions are quite powerful, with inline mathematical formulas and formula blocks, support for non-English characters, and center-aligned lines. The rendering process is processed by MathJax.
It also supports using pandoc to import and export documents, which is very convenient.Export to PDF with bookmarks. Go further and export or import. More formats, including docx, OpenOffice, LaTeX, MediaWiki, Epub, etc, can be exported or imported.
Automatically match common MD editor characters,Auto complete pair of brackets and quotes like a code editor. Also, There's also an option to auto pair markdown symbols, like * or _.
Code block syntax highlighting
Supports CSS to set theme styles, and can directly call system fonts
Focus Mode & TypeWriter Mode, Focus mode helps you focus only on the current line, by blurring the others. Typewriter mode always keeps the currently active line in the middle of the window.
Support for span elements, which can be used to open note content with third-party software such as Typora, making it easy to edit with third-party software

Love TB editor however is missing things like footnotes and more control over list generation. I did not know about Typora thanks for the suggestion. Jeff

Bitter, now I use Obsidian's advanced uri to generate uid links, and then put them in the idea node of TheBrain in the form of links, jump to ob and open the corresponding document by clicking in tb, and use Obsidian as TheBrain's note editor.
