AI Assistant
Currently AI in the brain can be used to generate thoughts and content within thoughts.
I believe that the next logical step is to get some AI analysis of content and thoughts into The Brain.
I would love to have the ability to click a thought point, and drag as though I were creating or linking a thought. Then when I let go, normally it gives you a "create thought" bubble which lets you either search or name that thought. This could be above, left, or below.
But instead of requiring you to start searching, make the AI do the analytics in the background, and instead of just giving you a place to type, it shows you an array of thoughts around that bubble, indicating existing thoughts that are logical to associate with the thought you are starting from in the plex.
This way, if I want to find a parent, when I drag up, the AI sees the content of your thought title, or even the thought content, and then searches all thoughts automatically for titles or content that are logical parents, and it takes the concept of a parent hierarch into account when it presents those linking options.
When you drag left you are looking to link to other thoughts that have an association, but are neither parent or child. So again, using AI, find the associations in either the title or contents, which make logical associations to the titles or contents of other thoughts.
When creating a child link, now it looks at topics that are hierarchal subordinate to the topic, title, or content.
The magic is in the ability for the AI to find the associations in the context of the link type, and in the content found in each thought title or notes section.
The final element to this could also be a count on the association line. This count would be the number of times the association link exists in the note content. So if I write a 1500 word article in a note, and I mention the parent topic 12 times, when the association is found using AI, the count puts a weight on that link.
The weight could also be a good predictor for the parent / child relationship. When presenting the array of links when you start dragging, the suggestions would be positioned around your thought automatically, either above, to the left, or below the thought, creating dynamic association options.
The options don't commit until you click and accept them.
Final bit on this too, the AI Assistant could automatically suggest tags, and you can click and commit the tags as well from the AI suggestions.
Likewise, the AI could recommend LinkTypes by default, so you can set up a bunch of link types and us AI to apply link types to other thought relationships.
Create a tag bar that sits on the left of the plex, with a toggle, rather than the drop down that is there now.
