  2. The idea is to be able to copy and paste a chosen branch of the brain onto another thought...
    Process would be
    Right click on thought
    Selct sub menu that reads
    "Copy all down line"
Two sub sub menu options then appear
    Choose either 1) or 2)
    1) Discard all non-descended Parents and Jumps
    2) Duplicate all non-descended Parents and Jumps (when pasting new branch)
    ...
Select new host thought from anywhere
    Right Click on it
    Paste
[Much re-invention of the wheel is saved]
and or you can manually edit the result

  3. How about a time-machine function - i.e with time-stamping of thoughts, you could scroll back through time. That way you could view the evolution of your thinking about a particular subject over time.

    http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/08vm26RLX1g2WftUJHC4yWMW8YVb8LuH1Pwkdq2hf2Q?feat=directlink

    建議:在右邊添加跳躍聯結點。
proposal: add a jump point to the right.

    解釋:垂直方向,空間關係,就像天地;水平方向,時間關係,就像先後。
Explain:Vertical, the space, just like Parents and children; Horizontal, The time, just like earlier or later.

    示例:本節點(比如你我)在中心,其上為人類,其下為器官系統;其左為人類祖先,其右為…
Example: The thought(such as you or me) in the center, then up is human being, down are digestive system nervous system (they are brothers); and left is monkey(Human ancestors), later is i don't know.

  5. In the details seccion of a thought where all attachments are listed (bottom part outside of the plex) it would be good to be able to switch the view to Details, Icons, Thumbnails. Just like you do in Windows Explorer. This is good specially for pictures.

  7. I think this could be huge - if you connect PB's ability to navigate elegantly through nodes with the vastness of WWW, the way of visual surfing would be finally open!

It would involve a dynamic information-centric approach, not a static page-presentation one, and would really cut through the maze and let us find what we need.

  9. PB supports storing links to files, URLs, etc. . This idea works the other way.
Allow storing a link to a specific thought in a text file, todo management tool, etc. etc. etc. .

  15. Version management of documents with the brain, currently this is manually, in fact you create another document with in fact another name (adding a version index to the attachment name). I think this should be handled by the brain itself. When you add an attachment it gets a unique id in the brain database when it is changed you can save it under the same name and the versioning is taking care by by the brain. Only the last version is visible to the outer world. But older versions are still accessible. Parameters about how much versions and how long…

  17. Feature request: Layers

For the plex I'm creating, it would be really handy to have a Layer feature that works this way: Filter the plex by link type, then show only thoughts in the plex that are connected by that type of link. That way, the plex could show all thoughts connected by data-flow links, or architecture heirarchy-type links, or member-of links, etc. Wild-card filters would allow the display of all data-flow links, one-way links, two-way links, etc.

  18. Link or embed the ability to view Attachment pics and document thumbnails in a Zooming fast passed format. Make it so that if you hover over a tag on the side of your brain item, so you quickly look through the pics like one would take a picture book and thumb through hundreds of pictures in just 2 seconds with the ability to stop
on any one for a zoom in look,This would save me hours a day every day. Great for Graphic Artists, Photographers and anyone who use high volumes of imagery.
This alone would double the functionality of…

    • Have the ability to zoom in and out of Expanded View. To see entire brain.
    • Have a magnifying glass tool to hover over sections of the brain, like Google maps or other geospatial applications.
    • The ability to activate thoughts in the magnifying tool's focus.
