Have a search box for included icons
Having the ability to narrow down icons by category is nice. But what would really make finding icons fast and easy would be a search box where one could type in something like "fruit" and any icon tagged fruit would show up, ie icons of banana, apple, orange, etc...

I have a colleague who is also a friend, mentor, and golfing buddy,
My spouse is also a friend, advisor, and lover,
For certain productions, an individual is writer, director, producer, and performer.
The, sometimes complex, context is better portrayed with all of the valid relationship links captured and visible at once.

Sync iPad Inbox with desktop
When I clip articles, etc., to the Inbox in the iPad version of TheBrain I don't always have time to add those items to thoughts. I would like the Inbox to sync to the desktop version of TheBrain so I have the option of using the Inbox contents on the desktop. (I think this is almost the same as saying I'd like to have a universal Inbox that's accessible to TheBrain on all platforms - iOS, Android, OS X, Windows and web.)

Cada vez que necesito consultar un video tengo que realizar un proceso tedioso en YouTube para cambiar el subtitulado del ingles, al espaniol porque no se puede bajar en espanol directamente y se pierde mucho tiempo. No se podria acceder directamente a una version ya subtitulada en espaniol ?? Asi podría bajarla a mi pc y acceder a ella desde mi disco cada vez que la necesite. Lo mismo para los tutoriales. El traductor de Google ayuda mucho, pero si estas con este proseso una y otra vez, al llegar a lo que está solo en ingles, el desanimo gana…

Scroll bars to the Expanded View
When working with expanded views that don't all fit on the screen at the same time, it would be very VERY helpful to have some navigation method other than drag/panning the display around. Scroll bars would probably be best for this. Or perhaps a thumbnail of the entire view where you can click on the spot you want to zip to.
Since the expanded view is without boundaries, you would need to program the scroll bars to size and position themselves relative to the present extents of the view dynamically.

Hiding Links in Expanded View
In large expanded views, often there are many thoughts which link together in ways that look very messy due to the links crossing over the entire display to connect far away thoughts together.
Sometimes, thoughts are linked in common because they share the same tag. But if I have an expanded view showing the relationships between these thoughts, I often don't want to see those links which are not relevant to the view I am using. Bezier curve handles for links
When using the Expanded View, it would be very helpful to be able to control the flow of the links between thoughts to route them around other thoughts that might cross their path because the network is too dense or perhaps just to keep things tidy. This could be done with the use of bezier handles which are used in countless other applications. You could allow the user to insert one or more handles into a link, represented by tiny squares or something. Then, the link would pass through all the handles on its path to where the user wants…

Image export of Expanded View
The Brain needs an option to export a FULL image of the expanded view. I'm not talking about the multi-page print function here, as this is useless for creating oversized images of a full expanded view. The resulting images should be able to exceed the size of the monitor's resolution. I've got an expanded view which 1920x5988 pixels in sizes.

Ordering and filtering child thoughts by type and tag, as a permanent setting of the parent thought
It would be nice to have a setting per thought, that would define the ordering and filtering of child thoughts when the thought is in focus. Ordering could be done alphabetically, by date, and by thought type (ascending and descending), and filtering by type, tags and date. This would immediately enable a number of use cases requested, mostly around task and project management, but it is also universal enough to support many more.
