1. Using theBrain as an Artificial Intelligence Tool (A.I.) and self learning system

   Artificial Intelligence.

   The links between thoughts could be extended with a new type, for instance: relational facts.
   This link-type would be applicate to thoughts which related to each other on a special way.
   f.i. thought-x isfather tought-y
   thought-y isson thought-z
   What is beautiful in that concept is that the user is completely free to make its own relations labels in every possible domain like :
   engine-e has_wheels
   
   To make the relation link complete, it should be capable to have a new feature (array) where you can put some additional attributes like 4 (four wheels) and methods (script-code function(x,y,z)).
   Thus the relation should be object-oriented.

   The next characteristic is a table with rules on which the relation objects can rely on.
   You could say IF thought-x(id) isfather tought-y(id) and thought-y(id) isson thought-z(id) THEN thougt-x(id) ismarried thought-z. Where id is the id number in the sql tabel.
   On the engine thought you could say: IF engine-e haswheels(2) THEN is_bicycle.
   The rules could be sequel statements imbedded in the rules-tabel which would be generated from the user-interface (that’s the more difficult part, but that’s doable).

   Last but not least: The Goal tabel.
   Here comes all the results-rows generated from the rule sequel statement.
   These results can then be used as new thoughts. (ismarried -> thought married, isbicycle -> thought bicycle)

   On this way you’r just develop a self-learning a.i. system !.

2. Clean up this Feature Suggestions list.

   To include stuff going back (and taken care of) many years ago reduces the value of this list. Once a list is this long it starts to get pointless.

3. create customizable stylesheet for sitebrains

   Please create a stylesheet that we can use to customize the look and layout of the sitebrain. Its ugly, not user-friendly, doesn't display the same way as the desktop version, and really isn't up to web standards for 2017. I would rather have a gorgeous and functional hierarchical display of my brain data than what is currently generated. I can't recommend using the sitebrain for anything, which is sad.

4. Flashcard "Study Session" Mode / View - Mental Models and the Art of Memory Maintenance

   As a continuous learner who works in the always evolving world of software/technology, I would love to be able to use an existing brain, or create a new one that allows me to study singular thoughts as if they were the "prompt/question" side of a flashcard, in relation to all related thoughts being the collective "answer" on the other side of the flashcard. (Each Thoughts related Note or Embedded Browser could hold more detail.)

   I would be able to track results such that the "prompt/question" thought would receive a percentage score based on the aggregate result of each individually evaluated linked "answer" thought .

   Each "Study Session" would be saved, and subsequent sessions would be auto scheduled based on a preselected objective (Long-term Spaced Repetition, Target a deadline, Short-term cramming (i.e. Leitner System), or Regular Timed Intervals); and would be algorithmically driven to prioritize thoughts with lower percentage weights. (i.e. a study version of the existing "Wander" mode).

   I would be able to create, name, and save different "Study Sessions" based on a manual filterable selection of thoughts by thought type, link type or tag, based on random selection of a selected number of thoughts, or I could select All if I wanted to study a smaller entire Brain).

   The end goal, unlike any other existing mind map or flashcard software that I am aware of, is to be able to continuously leverage the efforts and time put into the creation of mental models that typically serve a non-learning purpose by automating an efficient mechanism for continuously strengthening (learning) weaker thoughts by connecting (chunking) them with other stronger existing thoughts.

5. Embedded Browser Meets OneNote Edit-ability

   I love the Embedded Browser feature. It would be so much better if I could optionally "Save" (Clip) the contents into the Notes tab for editing. The amount of time this would save would be exponential. I am sure at some level this is an end goal of the tool, but if not it should be.

   I love the changes I am seeing, keep up the great work!!!

6. TheBrain Salesforce AppExchange Product

   TheBrain, as a commercial AppExchange product on the Force.com (Salesforce) platform, in my opinion would fill a huge existing gap: The ability to easily visualize either system level metadata (object relationships) or even more importantly hierarchical record-level data relationships across those objects.

   The applications of TheBrain from this perspective seem endless. I've listed a few below:

   Administrative/Developer/Architect
   - Implementation Modeling of initial Data Model Architecture
   - Actual Data Model (objects, fields, etc) metadata importing/exporting into Sandbox
   - Ongoing Production level Data Model evaluation for support and trouble shooting purposes.

   End User
   - Data Visualization for improved contextualization of relationships
   - "Salesforce Knowledge" visualization based on content tagging and libraries
   - Record-Level visualization of related hierarchical parent or child relationships
   - Team collaboration tool for projects, process management, external system document storage, etc...

   I could go on, but for the sake of time I won't but to say it would prove a worthy exercise, if it hasn't already been considered, to evaluate the potential revenue and marketing channels the Salesforce AppExchange could provide given the lack of UI / Data Visualization flexibility of the platform.

7. Combine Icons

   I would love for icons to automatically combine For example if I had a people Icon for a group, and a Country Icon for a flag, it would automatically use the flag for the country combined with the people icon for people associated with the country.

8. Notes word explanation and grammarly allowed.

   I am missing the possibility to find an explanation of words. Strangely enough in this interface for the suggestion of new ideas when you double click on a word an explanation box is presented and in case you want more you can have google translate activated.

   I have Grammarly active but apparently, this does not work in notes of Thebrain. It would be great if that could be allowed.

9. emergency data recovery

   The most worst scenario will be if your second brain is running well and you operate on the PKM mastery, that some Windows/Libary update will distroy the access of all your ideas, thoughts and connections.
   PB free versions should be able (also with old brains) to export all thoughts and especially also the links and attachements into a folder hierarchy with plain text files. So in this worsed scenario with a licenc free and without any software activation process it will be possible to see and search over your ideas, thoughts and connections with some third party tools, to continue working efficient like you know it. [If you leave Everynote, sure you can export all in plain text, but all your links get lost, so all your idea-space becomse meaningless]

10. Thought Type Selection

    I just wanted to say I don't really like care for the way that thought type selection is divided up into multiple sub menus. Not a very clean design in my opinion.

    Why can't the list of thought types be more like the instant search list with a scroll bar?

12. Show Tag properties in the tag list

    Could we have the tag properties shown in the tag list.
    A simple tick mark to show wheter or not the tag is shown on the plex.
    And a simple color box to show the color if one has been chosen.

14. allow right click on recent history to scroll all history

    add a right click capability to the recent history at bottom of plex to show a scoll list of history up to a (user defined?) limit.

16. Don't "rubberband" the activated thought in expanded view

    It's a needless distraction. I tend to edit notes on several children of a parent, while keeping them all in view. Mouse-over editing of children works in normal view until the user moves the mouse cursor over the note. Expanded view is better for the task, because it enables the user to to activate a thought without recentering around it.

    But I'd like a "quiet" toggle...there's no reason to spring the view if it's only going to retract right to where it was. Sometimes a long Thought title is truncated until activated, at which point it covers its neighbor, even after the redraw. There would be some reason to redraw if activation cleared some space around the Thought , but it actually doesn't. So this seems like animation for its own sake, which impedes quick editing. Please let the user turn it off.

17. Add unlink 2 Context-menu for inactive-thought in the plex

    When dealing with thoughts that have parents with many children (possibly even many parents), it gets hard in normal view to find the correct link from that thought to the parent (to unlink them). It would be much easier if the parent had an item in its context-menu saying "Unlink from {child_thought}".
    Or maybe even add an "Unlink"-menu to every thought which, when opened, shows all parent/child/jump-thoughts.

    And while we're at it, there should be keystroke for that, too :)

18. Hide comma trick in expanded and outline views

    There should be a way to turn on/off the display of the comma trick names in expanded and outline view, so that only the last name part is shown.

20. Docked window size preference

    In PB v3.x I could resize a docked window to about ~90% of the opposite side. Now, PB v5.x (maybe even PB 4?) does not allow me to resize a docked window. I would prefer to have the option of resizing docked windows.
