  1. Implement Ctrl-F/Cmd-F in the Embed thought.

    Feature request: Ctrl-F/Cmd-F search currently doesn't reach the note content of embedded Thoughts. Since Embed is a new feature, could search indexing be extended to include embedded Thought notes? Right now a Thought's content becomes invisible to search once it's embedded inside another Thought, which is easy to miss when relying on Cmd-F to relocate something.

  2. option to use 24-hour formats in Timeline and Reminders!

    Please add a setting that allows users to display times in the Timeline and Reminders using the 24-hour format, e.g. 13:00 instead of 1:00 PM.
    The existing custom date/time format for notes does not affect the Timeline or Reminders. Ideally, this should follow the user’s regional settings or be configurable independently.

  3. add a Callout to identify People (e.g., speakers/presenters, meeting attendees)

    LOVE the new Callout feature! I regularly have thoughts to capture meeting notes or notes from presentations. It would be useful and nice to have a callout with an icon of a person (?) to capture the names of speakers or meeting attendees. This would be a way to highlight and keep them separate from the base notes.

  4. Custom font for inline code, code editors, and Mermaid source editors

    Recent versions of TheBrain have added customizable fonts for many parts of the app, but this doesn't yet include the monospace font used for inline code and code editors nor the modal Mermaid source editor.

  5. Bring back search terms staying in the search form after search performed.

    Before this latest update (15.0.640.0), in the plex when adding a linked thought, the search term used was kept after the search was completed. In this update, that functionality was removed. I would like it back.

  6. Subscribe to RSS feeds

    I would like to configure a thought to subscribe to an RSS feed. TheBrain when the sync button is clicked would download new thoughts for each new item in the feed. A configuration option could possibly limit the updates to X number of items so as not to flood TheBrain with child thoughts.

  7. Add button to copy code block and Callouts content

    Add a “Copy” button for TheBrain code blocks and callouts in their top-right corner were very handy.

    Unfortunately, this feature doesn’t seem to currently apply to TheBrain.

    It would be great if support could be added.

  8. Refined card view

    Enable the Card View to only display a thought and its child thoughts organized in a hierarchical order. Activate this by right clicking on a thought in card view and show just the child thoughts.

  9. Please add "add URL" as an option to Quick Thoughts so I can use it like I did Brainbox. Especially since it is no long on my ios devices.

    Brainbox is no long available on my ios devices. My standard workflow is to capture links to news articles that I then post to thought in my brain. Doing that with Quick Thoughts is cumbersome, I have to open the link, then copy, then post. At least provide "Add URL" capabilities to Quick Thoughts

  10. Clone (Mirror) attachments within a Brain

    I only see this in Workflowy and for me and many of my colleagues it works extremely well. I do hope my "burning the midnight oil" doesn't make this idea seem totally silly. Oh boy!

  11. Detector for broken links to external files

    This is an old idea/request: Please make it possible to generate a report for thoughts with links to external files that do not exist at that location any more.
    This is a must have for me.
    Also a report for broken URL attachments would be nice.
    I guess, the process of generating this report would be slow, but it would be worth the wait.

  12. A Better way to Segment Brains

    By allowing Cutting and Pasting and maintaining links to other brains, which otherwise would require a huge manual effort and the risk of potentially loose data or at least have a lot of duplication.

    Alternatively a way to sync sections between brains could be an option.
