The closest thing available to this right now is to add the contents of the report to the selection via the Edit menu. Next, select Edit > Copy as Text Outline with Notes. You can now paste into Word, etc for formatting and printing.

This is possible by using Google Calendar as an intermediate sync point.

An error occurred while saving the comment Have you tried printing in 5.5? It has been improved quite a bit. If you have further suggestions for improving printing, please be more specific about how you'd like to see it changed.

An error occurred while saving the comment FYI, if you look at the Outline view in http://webbrain.com, you will see that parents can be infinitely expanded (grandparents, etcetera). This type of bi-directional outline view is included in the upcoming release of PB.

An error occurred while saving the comment FYI, the reason why implementing this is not a simple matter is due to the fact that a Brain is made up of a collection of files, some of which interact with other applications on your computer. If brains were simple files that were read into memory all at once saved all at once, this would be trivial. However, Brains don't work that way because it limits scalability...
FYI, filtering can be set to an arbitrary number of days, 30 is only the default setting. Also, more advanced filtering (based on tags, types, etcetera) is planned for a future release.

An error occurred while saving the comment Yogi123, I made the change because we can only do one thing at a time... Requesting 2 things at once makes it impossible for us to determine what it is people are voting for. That's why I created this request separately. Please understand we don't have unlimited resources and need to focus our efforts carefully.

Hold down the control key and click the thoughts to select them. You can also select by control-clicking a gate, using search, using a report, or using the crawl function. Once you have a selection, right-click to set the thought type.
Currently you can’t set link type or color this way – if you’d like to be able to do that, vote for this. :)

An error occurred while saving the comment FYI, the reason this is not already in PersonalBrain 4 but was in version 3 is because of architectural changes to the way data is stored. This is a non-trivial task, but will certainly be put into the development plans if the support for it remains strong.

An error occurred while saving the comment could be done, but not without creating a customized menu and explaining somehow to users that it works differently from every other menu... this is still a good idea that warrants consideration - it's just not as easy as one might think and would require some work to implement in an intuitive fashion.
An error occurred while saving the comment This would make it impossible to choose any type that has a type which inherits from it.

This is already available in the Outline view of version 5. If you mean something different, please explain. Thanks.
An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, I still don't understand... What do you mean by "freeze plex"? How can the children be expanded if the plex does not move?

We need a sample OPML file including text to do this. If you have one, please send it to support@thebrain.com with the subject “Sample OPML file as requested on the feedback site”
An error occurred while saving the comment If anyone has a sample OPML file that contains text entries, this can be fixed... If you do, please upload it to the discussion board and link to it from here. Thanks.
I understand what you would like. Unfortunately, it's a non-trivial thing to implement. The suggestion for using Copy as Text Outline with Notes is simply the closest thing that is available right now.
