Export a list of (selected) Thoughts (of a certain ThoughtType) with their Tags
I need to control and communicate my growing repository of Tags in relation to a set of Thoughts. In my case Thoughttypes Article, Interview, Lecture.
As far as I know it is not possible to export a list of Thoughts with their Tags.1 vote -

Categories for each thought!
It would be great to be able to assign a category for each though so that you could view your brain tree with any give category filter.

Speed up the icon mechanic
Make the icon dialogue remember favorites or recently used icons for quicker selection. Also make it possible to apply the same icon simultaneously to multiple thoughts, also to speed up selection.

lower the cost to enable users to map/link the application with a database or MS Contacts... for visualization
here's my 2cent.... it woud be great if you made it cost effect to lower the price to enable thebrain to work with a database... I know there's a version out there that does that, but the price is corporate... what about us individual end users? I think to tie thebrain with for example, a contact management system MS OUTLOOK (the contacts themselves! not just the calendar would be fantastic and have a greater appeal to users... my 2 cents.

Custom Extensions!
Allow users to create extensions for TheBrain.
TheBrain community is full of great ideas and I am sure there are many users who are capable of programming. Why not make it so that TheBrain's capabilities can be extended without much effort on the part of TheBrain company?

Notes should be like wiki
In fact Notes should be like wiki's - this would make it more open and allows to copy/paste pages from Notes into other Wiki-implementation and vice versa.
Examples of missing functionality: I-frames allowing to include You-tube video or other, include audio. Missing the insert picture button. Simply: Make Notes a wiki format where you can toggle between preview/rich-text/html-code. It should also be possible to go into a wiki-mode view allowing a thought based wiki presentation view.1 vote -
LIghtning speed thumbnail viewing like Cooliris or android Timeline file viewing
I (Larry ERB) had suggested to your team a few year ago that your ability to look at large quantities of Jpg images or thumbnails of files was very restrictive and slow. I had suggested they team up with Cool Iris to view at a much more rapid pace. Android now has file viewing characteristics that are similar. Eg. on the their timeline viewing you can view several hundred thumbnails of images in 10 or 15 seconds.
This advanced viewing method if adopted by your Brain could entice our whole company to adopt your product again. However without this functionality,…1 vote -
calendar in webbrain
Could calendar somehow be accessible in webbrain?
That way I could work completely from within my brain. Currently when NOT having access to desktop, I have events in gmail calendar but don't see the thoughts they are related to.... so it's somewhat limited ....1 vote -
Thought type and Tag allocation at creation
I'm surprised this is not here, as I'm sure it's discussed in the forum, maybe I just haven't found it?
What I'd love to see is the ability to add thought type and tags at creation via the text entered.
So for example:
newThought1 !thoughtType1 #tag1 #tag2, newThought2 #tag1 #tag3, newThought3 !thoughtType2would create the thoughts (like it does now), but also allocate / create thought types and tags as required.
This would save me a whole heap of time and keep the fingers on the keyboard!!

Faster link label entry when creating thoughts. I often know how I want to label a link when I am creating a thought. It is a huge waste
Faster link label entry when creating thoughts. I often know how I want to label a link when I am creating a thought. It is a huge waste of time to have two separate operations for this and the link labeling operation is extremely tedious. If I was able to type "Though name ---> Link name" in the new though creation dialog, it would be far more efficient. Multiple that by 10-100 thoughts per day.

link with notes visualization
Now in desktop version you can add text (note) to any link, and it is good. But! Later you will never know that this link has associated note - it won't get an icon (as thought with notes got). So right now this feature (adding notes to links) is not really useful, and it is a pity. Please, add some visual clue to the links containing notes - it becomes much more interesting!

Any way to select multiple thoughts from the instant search list?
It's often difficult in the instant search list to find the right thought because many of them are very similar in terms of the text you can see, and you can't see the thought icons. Is there anything one can do other than looking at them one at a time, with a new instant search in between each check?
