  3. The Plex in the ios app is blank; however, other functionality, BrainBox additions and display, attached notes display, content searches, and synchronization appear to function as expected.

  4. I was excited by the Cerebro in TheBrain 15. Finally, a feature that matches what so many competitors have.

However, this is not an AI engine. It's a simple integration between TheBrain API and an LLM. It is so frustrating not to be able to search for example 'thoughts about sport'.

The problem is, I need to know what I am looking for before I start looking for it. Otherwise I can't pass literal information to TheBrain API. This is poor and counterintuitive.

I asked Cerebro about this and it said, perhaps I can literally search through a list of…

  5. I’d like to see an option to import Events and attach them directly to existing Thoughts in TheBrain.

    What I’m looking for:

Import events from CSV (or other supported formats) and link them to an existing Thought

Options for duplicates (skip/update/merge) when an event with the same date/title already exists.

  7. I'm trying to copy an email into a thought as an attachment from MacMail. I can grab in in MacMail and can place it as a child / parent ... or as an attachment. Each time (and in each place) TheBrain 15.101 says it's attached ... but it's not.

  9. I propose that we create a search agent. It's simple. Let's say you search for a few keywords in the Brain. Once the search is complete and you have an overview of the thoughts that have been found. You can save the search to a search repository. When I add more thoughts, this search would continue to work in the background, adding thoughts that match the search criteria. When I go to the search directory and click on the search that I saved, it will instantly present me the new updated search results.

  10. When pasting structured export-formatted text into an existing thought that already contains recurring child labels, TheBrain 15 beta does not offer the prior copy/replace resolution behavior seen in v14. Instead, it creates duplicate or triplicate child thoughts immediately. This breaks workflows that rely on stable repeated structural node names.

  11. It would be helpful to be able to see how much of the 30GB online storage space is still available for storing remote brains.

I believe the issue I am having uploading a new Brain is due to its size and my remaining storage.

  12. When making a child thought from a brainbox item and it already exists in the brain, the popup box (see attached) does not let deleting it from the brainbox. why not add a delete option to the popup? Also, it is not clear what is the move option;)

  16. Hi, iOS (26.4.2) on iPhone (13 Pro) issue (though is see it also on the macOS desktop app).
I can’t access the note. The screen is showing mainly the thought name and the bottom menu items cover the tip of the note. No way the decrease thought name text size. Not sure if a bug or per design.

To replicate go to Instagram, select

    https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIhiAPXR6QO/?igsh=bG4xM3ZwZ21ybXg4

and share to BrainBox. Then import from BrainBox to a thought. The import process creates this thought name and note with the link to Instagram-All good and desired.
Nevertheless, it is totally nonfunctional. Due to…

  17. Notes can seem cluttered and run-together with single line spacing. I often manually, or now using Cerebro, add blank lines between tabbed or bulleted lines for more clarity and ease of reading. Enabling some basic paragraph formatting would save a good bit of time and trouble.

  18. In V15 beta, when you click a link in a note, that pops up a little dialog (see attached screenshot) which shows the text of the link and a hamburger (a menu button). By clicking on the text, you can finally bring up the linked item (a note or external URL).

From a user's point of view, this creates avoidable friction because it bundles functionality that could be achieved by other means as well:
    - let me start with the hamburg menu that is brought: that can also be access through the context menu, so there really is no need…

  19. Sometimes adding new thoughts and you want to go quickly - this would help.

I know there are keyboard shortcuts, but these are often sometimes not the easiest to establish ( and I for one am always having them clash with other apps -on a Mac). Many other apps now have slash command as a quick entry means. This would help.
