    I use notes on certain ideas as templates for checklists. For example, I have a checklist of items to review during a project kickoff meeting, for closing out a project sprint, for personal use—such as a list of things to pack for a weekend in nature—and so on.

    These lists don’t appear in my to-do list.

    So it makes a lot of sense to distinguish between the two types of checkboxes.
