Enable AI to Summarize PDFs into Notes
I save many PDFs as child thoughts under a parent that describes the area of research those pdfs are relevant to. It would be useful for AI note generation to be able to use the contents of the PDFs. In this way a thought that contains a PDF could have a summary of the PDF as a note and I wouldn't have to open the PDF and read it entirely to know what it contains. Similarly, the parent though could contain a summary of the PDFs contained in its child thoughts. While I have focussed here on PDFs, this could work well with other file types as well.

@Mark Trexler can you provide more info on this app?

This is now possible via a separately developed Brain app that works through the API.

Related to this post I just made on the forum: https://forums.thebrain.com/post/ai-indexing-and-generative-reporting-d66-13358159?pid=1340454195
I think it's a noBrainer to implement!

Nice. It could be expanded and AI could take advantage of all files and notes in my Brain to be used to gather information. Sort of a "wander" on steroids.
