develop a Personal Brain iPhone App
I had posted this as an idea but was not clear that I expected an iPhone App that could Synch with "Brains in the Cloud" Thus having Cloud based Brains is a key step but did not "Complete" My original idea. An iPhone App would be able to take full advantage of the iPhone UI and Multi Finger controls.
Thus the repost

Timeline
To have the possibility to add a new metadata to the thought that is Time. This should not be the creation date but simply a date added by the user.
Thoughts can then be visualized on a timeline. It will be nice that links will be visible in this new view of the plex.May be this is a big implementation to insert in a new version. But I think will be very usefull to add a new dimension to the Brain.
1,779 votesTheBrain 9 includes a new timeline view with the ability to show thoughts on the timeline as well as calendar events that will be syncable with Google Calendar.
The timeline view features the ability to assign thoughts start and end times and to see those times visualized over a smoothly scaling, fully animated display spanning anywhere from multiple years to several hours and everywhere in between. Rather than replacing the existing view of the plex, the timeline works in concert with the plex so that clicks on the timeline can trigger thoughts on the plex and vice versa.

Personal Brain for android, web, and google.
I a, suggesting a personal brain for the Android platform because it is open, and versatile. Beyond Android marks a new era in mobile technology but the apps that are being created for it in the realm of productivity are antiquated.
I have seen demos if OpenGL on android that will blow your mind. Using the full potential of the hardware, along with integration, of mail, contacts, maps, and the web browser, paired with a navigation very similar to the personal Brains Plex would revolutionize the way people did and thought about everything.

Multi-level tags
Currently, tags are only differentiated by the name of the tag, there is no heirarchy or classification of tags. If at least two levels of tags were available, lots of functionality becomes available. For example, you could have a tag type of 'Release date', and then have the tag specify a date. You could in this way also implement what some have asked for in the 'Timeline' request(s). This is just one example of the possibilities.

Linking brains
Would be really cool to have a link thought to another brain.
377 votesLinks to thoughts in Brains via a URL format are included in Version 6, enabling this, plus the ability to link to thoughts from notes and on Windows also from other programs.

PersonalBrain for iPhone
A version of PB for iPhone that would sync with the desktop version. To be able to bring our "brain" everywhere would be really nice.
255 votesiPhone access is now available by syncing your Brain to http://webbrain.com. It is currently read-only, but read-write access (and much more) is planned for the future.
Use PersonalBrain 6 to sync just the changes so you don’t have to upload your entire brain when changes are made.
As noted by several users, this item is marked completed, but no native iPhone application is available. If you want to to vote for a full native iPhone app, please do so at this newly created suggestion: http://thebrain.uservoice.com/pages/4597-personalbrain/suggestions/269288

Personal Brain In A Cloud: create, edit & view same brain(s) from 1 or more remote computers
Putting PB data into a cloud and enabling Personal Brain "cloud computing" would extend the power of PB for me. It would enable creation, editing and viewing, of my same brain(s) by me from remote computers with the PB program installed (e.g. home, work, field etc.)
This would replace carrying brains around on a memory stick etc.
(Note: While Personal Brain In A Cloud might also facilitate iPhone app, PB on handhelds, collaboration/sharing and real-time collaboration, these potential benefits are secondary to my request). I have seen some of these "secondary" (for me) suggestions but not my primary suggestion already…
195 votesPersonalBrain 6 includes sync of Brains to WebBrain.com, including concurrent modification of the same Brain from multiple computers. WebBrain.com can be used to access your Brain from most devices (iPad, iPhone, and more soon). Presently browser based access is read-only, but that will be changing soon.

Renaming a thought should also adjust its name in contextsensitively named child-thoughts
Suppose I have parent "A12" with children "A12,abc", "A12,def", "A12,ghi" and then I rename "A12" to "A123". All of a sudden the names of the children do no longer match and are then displayed - not nice.
Would be much better if they were auto-adjusted to the same name.Yes, this has been a simple example and deeper thinking might be required to propagate such changes through multiple generations of thoughts. Also the problem "A12,B12,C12" --> "A12,C12" needs to be considered...

Make a native MAC OS X version. Use al the benefits of OS X instead of a 'Windows version' on a Mac.
Th current version on a Mac doesn't feel like a native native OS X application. The GUI and the look-and-feel are not like Mac. It is a great application, but Mac users like native apps instead of 'ported' apps. ;-)

Allow hyperlink in notes to link to thought in plex; clicking it should bring up the thought in plex
We can now hyperlink to www or other docs, but why not into existing thoughts in the brain? This would be a very useful feature. I frequently write notes and wish I could hyperlink directly into the plex.

Bulk rename (replace) in thoughts
What is meant here is the ability to select some or all thoughts, search and replace within thought name to make thought naming consistent across all thoughts.
Currently one must select and edit each thought individually which is stoneage. We're now up to PB5. This is urgent. How about it guys? I know this has been suggested in the main forum at least once, but haven't found it in UserVoice, so here goes.
107 votesThis was added as part of TheBrain 11. It includes support of the use of regular expressions and preview of the results.

make linux work fully
I changed to Linux (Ubuntu) and my brain ain't working the same as in Windows.
No Drag and Drop
No color changes
No templatesIs there a time frame to make linux fully empowered?
106 votesDrag and drop in Linux is in TheBrain 7. Color changing problem under Linux has been fixed for some time now. Templates do work if you grant PB permission to modify the contents of the program folder.

Use icons for tags
How about the ability to use an icon in place of text for tags? This saves screen real-estate and will solve issues around multiple tags overwriting text for other thoughts. Ideally, configurable so you can switch between icon/text to aid clarity when presenting.
104 votesTheBrain 9 allows tags to be displayed as icons, text, or a combination so that icons show and then the text also shows on mouse hover.
