Add the ability to link to a brain using a custom domain.
I am not sure how feasible this is, but it would be great to be able to use a custom domain directing to a specific brain. The current address to a thought in any brain is meaningless to the casual user. It would be an advantage if a custom domain could link to say the thought name. Not sure if this is possible, but it would be extremely useful.

Allow Thought Type Icons to Overwrite All Other Icons By Default
All of my thought types have assigned icons.
When I add a type to a thought, I would like to have a preference setting that would allow this assigned icon to automatically overwrite any other current thought icons (links, documents, images, etc.)
We used to have a similar option in previous versions of TheBrain, and I would like to see this option restored.

Bring back scroll sticking
Two or three versions ago (currently on 15.0.640.0, whenever I would scroll down the list of parents to the current thought and picking the parent I'm interested in, the list of parents would remain where I scrolled it to. Now, the list of parents jumps back to the top of the list after I make my selection. I really don't want to have to keep scrolling down every time. This is all in the plex view.

Global Orientation Mini-Map with Smart Level-of-detail Zoom capabilities
Current visualisation problem:
Dense or large brains make it difficult to remember where the current view sits within the overall knowledge structure. Conventional zoom mainly changes scale; it does not adapt the amount or meaning of information shown, so large views become cluttered and small views become uninformative.Proposed improvement:
Provide a persistent, interactive mini-map showing the whole brain or selected region, the current viewport, major clusters, and the active thought. Make zoom levels semantic: show detailed thoughts nearby, summarized groups at medium scale, and major domains or supernodes at global scale.Expected benefit:

Custom AI API key and OpenRouter support
I wrote an email to TheBrain's support team yesterday inquiring about how AI API works in this app. Essentially, I praised them for the app itself (which is fantastic), but I expressed how the only thing that keeps me from using its AI chat (Cerebros) is how it seemingly only supports OpenAI's models. I genuinely don't want OpenAI and its models to meddle with my projects, so I inquired about the possibility of supporting local models or API keys from other services, companies.. (with OpenRouter being my biggest recommendation).

Clear/delete card view timeline
Would be nice to be able to clear / delete ones timeline in the card view. Like when you clear the history cache in the browser. E.g. if you've imported many thoughts and then deleted some of them it fills unnessarily the timeline with too much.

Vertical alignment of the content in table cells at the top
The content of the cells of tables is always centered vertically. It's not possible to set valign to 'top' by inserting code in the Text view of a note; the code is rejected.
I use tables to compare several language versions of a text and aligning the beginning of each text bite at the same hight would be very helpful.

Make Mermaid Diagrams support clickable links
De addition of Mermaid diagrams is a great thing for the content area but it lacks one big feature... You can't click on anything inside of the diagram to establish a link with it's content.
One practical example would be:
You ask Cerebro to make a downward hierarchy about the current thought represented in a mindmap structure x levels deep (deeper than what you can see at this point). By adding the possibility to click on either mindmap node (Cerebro created) and go to that node/thought in your brain instantly you would have added (in no time) a visual summary…3 votes -

I want Cerebro to be able to use other tools MCP so I can control my tools from Cerebro, keeping most of my work in TheBrain.
Like Claude, ClickUp BrainMax, etc. you can use the Ai Chat (and ClickUp Ai Super Agents) to take action on your tools like Dropbox, Metricool, Shopify, etc., via MCP connections.
I want Cerebro to be like this, to integrate and control my tools right next to where we strategize. This will help us all take action faster than ever before.

Have thoughts with Type show up higher in search results
I have typed thoughts that are Categories or Focus areas that I search for often and would like thoughts with Types set to get stronger weighting in the search algorithm.

Better Redo Function in the AI of the Notes Editor
When using the Redo function in the AI assitant of the notes editor it would be helpful to have access to the last prompt entered. Often a Redo implies a change or refinement of the last prompt. Currently one has to reenter the complete previous prompt (and to remember the exact previous wording).

Spell check to identify duplicate words. the the etc... Oddly, the spell checker in this web page locates duplicates.

Gamification Skill Tree View
To keep up with something that is out there, and where The Brain could leap forward into a new paradigm.
Create a "Skill Tree" view, which resembles skill trees that can be built in video games.
Add some graphics options such as thought shapes and zero text options.
We already have the option to modify the plex to have interesting backgrounds, so that isn't needed.
Being able to toggle text on and off, replacing it with an image. If you had the ability to use .png files for the images, then you could actually end up with very dynamic looking…

iOS To Do List Sorting/Filtering
The iOS To Do List doesn't presently allow sorting by Name or Date Modified like the Mac/Windows version of the To Do List does. It's not even clear what sorting logic the iOS list is currently using ... it seems to put modified thoughts at the bottom, but there are confusing inconsistencies. At the very least, it seems like the iOS To Do List should be sorted by Date Modified by default (with To Dos from the last modified notes at the top).
Better still would be to allow for a user-controlled sorting choice, either by Name or Date Modified.

For the Desktop app, include Tag and Type for the thought in the Notes
I have several thoughts with several tags and the desktop plex becomes crowded. I would like the option to display the tags and type of a though in the notes and not show on the plex below the thought. I know this works in the web and app version, but I would like it in the desktop version also.

Add indents, lines, or bullets between items in a Table of Contents
When items in a Table of Contents wrap to two or more lines, it can be difficult to distinguish between the different items in the list.
I suggest adding formatting that makes it easier to see where each new item begins. I've attached a few possibilities.

Add Cloud icon variations to be able to see sync status at a glance
I would like to be able to tell sync status just by looking at the Cloud icon. I have attached a visual of one possible solution.
This would be useful in several situations:
• My Brain is having a sync problem, but I don't realize it until days later. This is because I have to click on the little triangle to see the sync status, but there is nothing to prompt me to do that if I assume sync is automatically happening like it usually does.
