  1. You changed the folder names during the TB8 to TB9 update, and I lost all of the links that existed between Word documents that were housed in TB8. So I have to have all my TB8 content in the TB8 structure, and now TB8 isn't supported and doesn't work. So I can only access through Windows Explorer. Please don't repeat this.

  2. Since, the new model by Open AI is launched and its relatively cheaper their its previous model. Is there any roadmap to adding o3 mini on the upcoming version?

This provides larger context windows and better reasoning model which will be great addition to TheBrain while expanding our Mindmaps and thinking

  3. What I would Iike to be able to do is to find the thoughts that have the most links. I'm thinking that in the Report view area, at the top, there would be a way to sort the thoughts by number of links.
I know in the Statistics I can see the average number of links per thought, but I want to know which thought is the "most popular".

  5. I usually use the BB to keep ideas, comments, URLs, images, and so on, from LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Captures made by my phone - always in the phone. Now I have a BB full of material, and I hate to go there, and begin to understand what did I kept that or for what.
    I suggest:
Rename the link (it does not work properly in my Android-Motorola Edge 40 Pro), and make it work, perhaps beginning with a key such as two or three characters...
then sort the info in the BB, and all those could be massive taken to…

  6. For example I use ISO format for dates, so 2025, 4 for april, and 2025, 4, 4, as a child thought would be the 4th of April, but that would look different then the 3rd which would look right as only "3", the fourth would be "4, 4"

  11. Taio is pretty much one of the few apps you can copy from AI like Perplexity and Copilot, if pastes as a markdown with * all over, by changing the view type it’s clean and can be copied into word etc.. love their box for code, clean and neat, lots of different types of code to choose from

  12. Citavi is widely used as a reference management tool in academic environments. I would prefer a close interface so that TheBrain can also be used for academic work.

  13. Allow us to customize the style for Block Quotes in text

    Block Quote Markdown

It would be nice to be able to attribute a different text style and background to block quotes in the Notes Style

  14. Allow the option to count tags not just thoughts as links, and even have a feature to trend statistics over time, to see how the brain is evolving.

  15. To have the option to "Sort:Event" in the report view. This would allow to report thoughts with events in chronological order.

Context: I cannot really use the timeline view as the events created go over many hundreds of years.

  16. TheBrain already has the feature of add a label during thought creation. It is hoped that a feature of adding note content during thought creation can be added. It is recommended to use a colon as the delimiter, which not only conforms to users' intuition but also facilitates pasting relevant content from web pages, PDFs or other texts, reducing some text processing work.

  17. Currently, adding parentheses around the first part of a thought name will cause that part to be skipped for sorting purposes, while subsequent parentheses will be ignored. It is recommended to use subsequent parentheses as symbols for adding thought tags, which better aligns with users' habits of adding labels and facilitates users in quickly adding thoughts and labels from copied and pasted text.

  18. I’d like to suggest an enhancement that would significantly improve workflow efficiency and keyboard accessibility.
When modifying an event and dismissing the properties popup, a contextual menu appears with four choices: Cancel, Only this, All the following, and All in the series. Currently, these options require mouse interaction or multi-step keyboard navigation.
It would be incredibly helpful if each option could be activated with a single keystroke—specifically c, o, a, and s—corresponding to the first letter of each item. This lightweight mnemonic-style activation would eliminate the need to switch between mouse and keyboard, making it easier to stay in flow…

  20. It would be super helpful if there were an option to hide thought types in the plex on iOS. Occasionally I accidentally tap on a thought type and it causes the app to hang for 10+ minutes if the type is used frequently.
