  3. I have a wealth of "Google Alerts". can I bring them into a new Brain?

    I have a wealth of "Google Alerts" (over 6000 of them).

    Can I import them into a new Brain?

    I'd like to be able to sort and categorize them, and access/use them for content creation ideas.

    Many of them have multiple links to different media sources.
    The ideal new thought would include:
    1. Alert name/Type (e.g.: Shopping Tips)
    2. Alert Date (yyyy/mm/dd)
    3. Alert Title (Initial Cap text)
    4. Alert Link (url)
    5. Alert Media Name (Name/abbreviation of Media Source))
    6. Alert Description (1-2 lines of text or summary text)

  5. Better documentation for Reports in TheBrain 15 - need better examples for the new Report UI

    The way of creating Reports has radically changed. Need more examples or assistance with how to create complex Reports. Currently not reflected in tutorials or documentation.

  6. Allow Custom AI Scripts in the Context Menu

    I would like to suggest adding support for user-defined AI scripts that can be integrated into the context menu.

    The idea is simple: allow users to create their own AI actions (using prompts or scripts) and assign them to the right-click menu for selected text. This would make TheBrain's AI much more flexible and adaptable to different workflows.

    This would be especially valuable in TheBrain's built-in web browser. For example, after selecting text on a web page, users could run custom actions such as:

    • Summarize the selected text.
    • Extract key concepts.
    • Generate tags or keywords.

  7. Save To Do Filters.

    A way to save the To Do's filters such as saving themes, ai scripts etc.
    ie: by type and/or tag. Project Type, Priority Tag, Person Tag etc. Problem to have to re-select all types/tags every time you need to focus on pending tasks of follow ups on a project.

  11. FR - Inline Unlinked Mentions with Colour Settings

    I am new to this group/ app so hopefully I am submitting this correctly. So far I am loving the ability for this app to customize so many things. To that end....

    When we are viewing an Unlinked Mention in the Content/ Note area the Unlinked Mention shows up with a dotted underline. I would like to be able to make this pop up more so that it will grab my attention a little more.   12. Sharepoint - file or hyperlink drag and drop

    We use Microsoft's SharePoint for our business file platform. Very frequently, I'd like to drag a file - or hyperlink - directly into a Thought Note (or as a related Thought).

    See attached video...despite looking hopeful (TB 15.0.586 and previous versions) by recognizing a drag/drop is in progress, nothing gets processed in TB.

    Currently, I either copy the hyperlink and manually paste the hyperlink or download the file to C: and then move it into TB (I usually want the file not the hyperlink, but sometimes I compromise with the hyperlink because it's faster). My expectation is either the file…

  13. timeline feature: start using or viewing, choose from time intervals of 1,000 years, 100 years, 50 years, 25 years, and 10 years

    To use the timeline feature for historical purposes (or, for example, to display family trees, etc.), users should be able to choose from time intervals of 1,000 years, 100 years, 50 years, 25 years, and 10 years.
    Right now, it takes quite a bit of effort to use "thoughts," "types," and "tags" to achieve a good presentation and linking of such data sets.
    Maybe all historians and genealogists could find happiness!

  15. Adjusting settings: Layout spacing

    With v15, when I open settings from within a brain, it only remembers the "layout spacing" for that brain on the device on which it's loaded. This means I need to open every brain on every device and adjust the layout spacing which is tedious.

    An option to push layout spacing to all devices across all brains would be ideal.

  17. Global ToDo List

    Since the launch of TheBrain 15, I’ve started using TheBrain differently, and I absolutely love the change.

    Historically, I maintained one large Brain rather than creating separate Brains for individual clients. The single-Brain approach was valuable for searching across everything, but its size sometimes made information difficult to find and navigate.

    With TheBrain 15, I now maintain a separate Brain for each client. When I’m working with a client, I can open that Brain and immediately have all the relevant information in front of me. It is a much cleaner and more effective way to work.

  18. fix link actions: clicking doesn't work, short text

    I have lots of acronyms, some which are similar.
    AC
    ACS

    I'm seeing unlinked mentions for things which don't match or TB is matching the first 2 characters and getting confused.

    I also have an issue with the current version (.612.0) where AC exists as a thought and I can hover over it to get a backlink, but get no choices when I click Link Actions for the menu. My click seems to get ignored, even though the menu is presented.

  19. Clone (Mirror) attachments within a Brain

    I only see this in Workflowy and for me and many of my colleagues it works extremely well. I do hope my "burning the midnight oil" doesn't make this idea seem totally silly. Oh boy!

  20. Detector for broken links to external files

    This is an old idea/request: Please make it possible to generate a report for thoughts with links to external files that do not exist at that location any more.
    This is a must have for me.
    Also a report for broken URL attachments would be nice.
    I guess, the process of generating this report would be slow, but it would be worth the wait.
