TheBrain software should come with a "before and after" brain comparison tool to validate conversion of thoughts, types, tags AND ICONS, or this tool should be made available free of charge upon request.

My most important brain (of 3 active now) was created with version 4.

During every upgrade to a new release some thought contents (Notes and links) have been lost, and in the upgrade to version 7 many icons became disconnected from the their thoughts or thought types (I can restore thought type icons by multi-selecting... but it's kind of a pain).

I believe that other people have experienced thought or content loss as well.

A "before and after" tool will help TheBrain support quickly identify issues, and will allow users to revert to a backup of their previous brain (their own responsibility, I'm not asking for a backup tool) before they have "gone too far" with a converted but "damaged" brain.
