When a parent has many child-thoughts, they are always displayed in the right column starting with the first one. I'd like to suggest to scroll that display so that the closest siblings of the current thought were visible. (You probable are more interested in the close siblings than in the distant ones).

Presumably a small step for a developer, but a huge step for the users :)
