  1. I would like to be able to manually edit the html of notes from inside thebrain (and have it rendered in notes), to include styling and external scripts like Tabulator, which is a javascript library that is used to create dynamic interactive tables. I think adding a raw code html feature to notes would be awesome and allow us to customize our notes further!

  2. Expand BrainBox to be a universal inbox and allow multiple ways for stuff to arrive.

    One being Email!

Either general Inbox or 1 inbox/Brain.

  3. I would love to use the reminder feature more - but I tend to use iOS (mobile) for this kind of thing and desktop brain reminders don't work unless I am at the computer on thebrain.....

Until now, google cal integration and reminders have been different - so something were I can get my brain notifications on iOS. In app push server support, maybe?

Also option for daily reminder email with todays/upcomming reminders would be good.

It would help my ASD/ADHD brain a load!

  4. Please enable opening thought links in TheBrain app on iOS (and Android).

I use e.g. OmniFocus and DevonThink next to TheBrain. On MacOS I can post links to relevant thoughts into those tools and easily access the thoughts as needed.

However, instead of opening in TheBrain, on iOS these links do nothing. This limits cross-app workflows significantly on mobile

  5. For purposes of feeding content to an AI, I'd like to be able to Create a Document that only includes the Thought Title and Label Content. Right now there is now way to exclude the full Notes content.

  6. Virtually all of the major notetaking apps, and also a number of apps in beta allow information to seamlessly pass between Readwise and the notetaking app itself. It's an automatic transition. It would be incredible if could use this into the brain.

  7. I frequently use the outline view mode in The Brain Software, as it significantly enhances my ability to organize and visualize information. However, I've noticed that when I share a Brain with others, the web browser version of The Brain currently lacks this feature.

I believe the outline view mode is a valuable tool that would greatly benefit users of the Cloud version as well. Is it possible to add this feature to the Cloud version of The Brain?

Your assistance with this request would be greatly appreciated, as it would improve the overall usability and sharing capabilities of The…

  8. I have used The Brain for years, but like many people I can't install programs on my work computer and must rely on the Web Client that syncs with the local installation on my personal computer. Backlinks and mentions are critical features for me, but they are not displayed on the Web Client. I would expect there are many in my situation who really want these features on the Web Client as well. Thanks for considering this.

  9. This would be a GAME CHANGER for me. I understand TheBrain uses an External AI tool to generate its responses and that it does not use the content of the brain as a custom large language model (though that should be a long term aim!). However, it should surely be easy to create a custom prompt that retrieves information from the Brain that can form part of the prompt that is sent externally.
For example, with AI tools I am currently creating prompts like, "Summarise the following", "Show any common threads in" etc and then I copy paste the content…

  11. I've been using TB for 20 years; yup I'm an original.

As may seem logical, as much as TB is my virtual office space; I use other products and they inspire me to view their functions and capabilities that would fit nicely into TB without it seeming to be some kind of copy of competing products.

I trialled Tana app recently, and as much as it's to me just another complex PKM product that simply cannot rival TB, it has a rather awesome mobile device app called Tana Capture and I am super convinced we Brain users would benefit immensely…

  12. I see .jpg and .png and .gif formats are supported (User Guide TheBrain 14 p115) Since the heic format seems to be standard in the Apple system, it would be useful to be able to copy them to icons.

  15. Bring back partial search requests. Or use a single-digit wildcard to fill in missing info.

I used to be able to search for the last few characters of a string but that option has been removed in one of the updates.

Searching is now harder to use and find things.

    For example:

"What is that 4444 number I saved? I forget. It's like 855, or 866-555-4444. Or is it 800?"

Search for 4444... nothing shows up.
Search for 8665554444... nothing shows up (because I forgot to add dashes)

In the older versions, I could find something like that easily.

    The…

  18. It would be very valuable to have a dynamic link capability between Thoughts and elements in MSOffice, especially Outlook. I am not talking about file links, but more like a direct interface so that a person in a Thought can be dynamically linked to their Contact in Office.

  19. Currently AI in the brain can be used to generate thoughts and content within thoughts.

I believe that the next logical step is to get some AI analysis of content and thoughts into The Brain.

I would love to have the ability to click a thought point, and drag as though I were creating or linking a thought. Then when I let go, normally it gives you a "create thought" bubble which lets you either search or name that thought. This could be above, left, or below.

But instead of requiring you to start searching, make the AI do the…

  20. Right now the Brain ai tools go to the web to get their results. I would like to use all the information I have in my brains as the data source instead or in conjunction with the WWW. So this search could be from within the brain or via an external ai tool like perplexity
