Zoom in/out in expanded view
The ctrl+scroll functionality in the expanded view is rudimentary at best and frustrating for navigation. It does not correctly alter the distance between all thoughts at the same rate.
I propose a new feature be added to allow zooming in/out of the entire brain structure for easier navigation of the expanded view, (much like being able to zoom in/out of google earth and slide the globe around to a different location).

I have zoomed in ('zoom' meaning making the text bigger) and I now can't zoom out again. No matter which view, whether I restart the app etc.
Very frustrating...
Please can we have a zoom-out option (not the same as collapsing boxes)

While I am also strongly in favor of the drill down functionality that has be discussed on the forums, this request does not include that functionality and is specific to navigating the brain in expanded view.

I believe by zooming some people mean auto-collapsing / auto-expanding nodes, which I would endorse.
This could also be associated with super-types (drill-down the type hierarchy) or the should-have-been-implemented tag hierarchy.

yes, very frustrating... also, when you collapse / expand nodes they loose their positioning which is very annoying.
