Bring node looks on par with other software
Personal Brain is one of the most advanced 'mind mapping and beyond' software titles I have ever seen. Yet, when it comes to customization of the look of the nodes, it's at the very bottom.
one can either set color of node background or font... come on it's XXI century :-) on the top of that, I have to make 4 or 5 clicks before I set the color and I can't seem to set color for multiple selected nodes
per node font type and size... again, it's XXI century :-)
nodes with multiple lines of text... I need to scroll two screens sometimes to read thoughts with a few sentences.
finally, somewhat least important - ability to have more than one icon on each thought and more node shapes, at least square ones, it's XXI century!
Thanks!
Don't get me wrong, I love the software, but there's a huge amount of work/opportunity in the custom attributes, mouse wheel workflow, search, and presentation areas.

TheBrain 9 now allows setting of both text and background color. Using tags, it is possible to include multiple icons on a thought.
Future plans include the ability to have multi-line thoughts and differing text sizes. This is fairly complex to do unfortunately since much of TheBrain’s dynamic capability is built around automated layout of thoughts, which is difficult when they can be of variable height.

I would also support different shapes for thoughts.

LukeP is right. If you develop a project and you want to present it to customers, PB looks like PowerPoint-Crap - Its a simple NO GO.
If PB just would present itsself like OmniGraffle (HighEnd in my book) or Merlin…
Decisions "look"…

agree, the restrictions of only one font type, size, style, single lined nodes, and heck, even the restriction of setting color of node background or text are quite noticeable and make personal brain look very 'simple and unevolved' compared to screenshots of Mind manager.

Yes! And don't forget about the thought's background and text colors and the thought border.
(The value of color is very limited in PB due to the way PB makes some elements darker or brighter as thoughts are manipulated)
