Add attachments - files
Using Mac OS the current facility to Add Attachments does not seem to allow importing of files into a thought, only the short cut. A file can be imported by dragging the file name from a folder but not as an option to the Add Attachments route.
In addition when dragging files what is being dragged is not always consistent sometimes it indicates a shortcut and sometimes not.
On this same option the Link to File Box brings up the folders/files screen for file selection and offers the Open selection box - other options say Choose which is the more…1 voteThis is not Mac OS specific. After you have added a link to the file, right-click it and select “move file into brain”

Rename tag
If the focus is on a tag in the Tags Tab, pressing F2 should open the Tag Properties so that the tag can be renamed easily.

fix the annoying expanded view bugs
While the expanded view is a great idea, it has a few very annoying 'bugs'. They make the view almost a pain to use.
Zooming - even with pinned nodes, you should still be able to zoom in and out, either by keeping the structure and shortening the links (text size stays the same) or by doing a full zoom in/out (as if you're zooming a picture)
Pinned locations of child nodes are lost when the parent node is minimized... very, very annoying
you should be able to drag a selection rectangle or a lasso around nodes and quickly pin…

Radar/Overview Window
http://forums.thebrain.com/tool/post/thebrain/vpost?id=1999967
Creating a small radar or overview window for an entire brain structure in expanded view (possibly outline view as well) would help improve the ability to scroll around and navigate large brain structures.

unescape urls when used as thought names (%20)
"Paste Web Link" doesn't "un-escape" urls very well, if at all. Especially for long SharePoint links, this results in thought names filled with escapes such as %20 and unreadable thought names.
Please%20vote%20for%20%idea!
Editing such thought names is one of the most frequent operations I need to to in PB4.

Enable calving multiple attachments into individual children
Before Brain, I maintained ideas as Outlook tasks, each of which could listed within multiple categories. Presently there's no good import. I can, however, drag an entire category of tasks into a Thought that matches the Outlook category name. The tasks then become attachments with active links. Not bad!
Now I should be able to right click somewhere to turn each such attachment into a child of the Thought that contains it. So it has its own identity and links within Brain's hierarchy.
And if the attachment is associated with another Thought, Brain should offer to multi-parent as well as…

Freeze & Rotate Expanded View Option
I'd like to see an option to freeze and rotate the expanded view. I used the view alot to focus and expand on thoughts and relations I've created between. Whether for learning, memorizing, analysing...this view is fantastic. However, sometimes the float and drift works again being able to lock a view or turn off the floating action for a static arrangement of data as I see it. Then being able to rotate the views (3D-like?) for new perspectives and insight would be great. I don't know how hard this would be or how much demand there is, but this would…

Vista speech recognition for texts n commands.talk to brain
use the vista speech recognition in Personal Brain. I can dictate text and command to my computer and files (say what you see) but not so well to personal brain, it seems. The text are not recognized properly in Personal Brain.

Multiple Post-it notes
Create a version of the Notes window that is smaller. No drop-down menus; user can use right-click for context menus. Like an eye-friendly post-it. Then create a "hook" within Thoughts to "open up" their notes right in place, and manipulate them all over the plex, so that the user can juxtapose several ideas.
Similar to the multiple-notes idea, except smaller, with a text-only display.

shortcut for last used highlight color
I use highlighting a lot in Notes (mostly yellow). It would be handy to have a shortcurt for the last used highlighting color - preferably a shortcut that can easily be performed with just the left hand.

Location of Files
It seems strange that the location of Brain files is not an option available in the Preferences - where users have set up brains in their own folder selections in the past it would be better to give them easy access to such folders under the Preferences set up.

Why not linking in the deep of thougts
I mean that i might be possible to get visualiezd access of deep thought on other dimension or to get on this way the backdoor to another brain to realize a kind of unreal 3D space.
The visualisation could be realized by tabs.
The idea is to give another meaning to the same namend toughts by localiezd it to different panes.
A futher idea is to distribude automatically the tags to the child thouhts...1 vote -
drag and drop options in Preferences
Currently the option available seem to be Move and Link - it would be nice to have the Copy option available as a Preferential selection
