GoogleDocs Integration
There is a great need here as we go collaborative. I would like to see full GoogleDocs integration with PB. Offerings like Memeo and Syncplicity do not offer features like multiple local folder integration etc. It would be awesome to create a file in PB and have the option to sync it with a GoogleDocs account so that both the GoogleDocs web location is stored and a sync'd local copy of the file is stored in that thought.

Allow arbitrary text for plex hyperlinks
it's awesome to have plex hyperlinks!
please make it work like web URLs - highlight text and choose a thought (you could bring up the search box)
there are times when the text does not match the target thought link or sometimes I'm phrasing it in a way that does not match the thought text.
it would also save time if you don't remember exact spelling of a thought in your brain (which is required) because most of the time whatever you type is still a valid jump even if it's not character for character. otherwise, it can be…

Improved startup window
The startup window should be improved as follows:
display only if there is no default brain (in v 7.0.4.5 it is displayed regardless)
if displayed, use all space for brain shortcuts (like e.g. Firefox or Opera) - currently right half of window contains redundant/useless information and forces you to scroll brain list

finding thoughts connected to a given set of other thoughts
I am a medical doctor using personal brain in my daily work as my knowledgebase. A feature that i miss direly is the possibility to search thoughts connected to a given set of thoughts.
For instance i would like to find all the thought (diseases) that are connected to all (and not just any) of the following thoughts (symptoms):
-chest pain
-shortness of breath
-Pain associated with breathingWhere the brain would return/show:
-Myocardial infarction
-Pulmonary embolism
-Pleuritis

show all "grandchildren"
(or as many as fit on the screen)
I have a lot of white space but I can only see a max of two grandchildren of any idea. I'd love to be able to see more of the things directly connected to my ideas.

Customizable shape of thoughts
It would be cool to change the shape of a thought (now it is simply a rounded box around the label) based on it's type (in addition to coloring). This would help to visually structure the Brain.

Right click menu: Move neighbouring commands of "Rename" command to avoid accidental "Forget" and "Create pin" actions
When right clicking a thought, on the menu that appears, please move/rearrange the neighbouring commands of "Rename" command to avoid accidental "Forget" and "Create pin" actions. I frequently hit the wrong command and end up having to unforget thoughts that I have accidentally forgotten and deleting pins of thoughts that I accedentally created.

Object library
It would be helpful if there was a library of shapes (Rectangle, oval, cloud for Thoughts for example), symbols (arrows, flags, etc.) and images. Thus, the thoughts would be better and faster individually.

Multiple Images for eacht Thought
Especially if one uses the program for professional business presentations, it would be very nice if you could have multiple thumbnails for each Thought. In presentation modus, you can click through the images (step by step)
One image is the "default-Thought-image", the others are interesting for the presentation- mode. With more pictures for one Thought, you can visual and step by step build logical structures, and arguments while presentation. This is like a fade - in - Animation of elements.3 votes -
Objects directly on the Wallpaper
It would be nice if you could put directly on the Wallpaper text boxes, images, and links. (Interesting in presentatione mode). whatever thoughts you click, direct access remains

Multiple Wallpaper (in-the-deep-Wallpapers)
People always learn in visual context. I would therefore allow multiple wallpapers in a Brain (in-the-deep-Wallpapers). For each Generation of thoughts, specific thematical Area or specific activated Thought one specific Wallpaper for example. memory Trainers use this for rapid learning (see also in google "loci-technique")

Tags need to Sync between machines properly
Currently, when you change tags on thoughts on one machine, those sync to the cloud and propagate to other machines, of course. However, when I go to my other machine and sync, the old tags on that machine are merged with the tags on the cloud. I end up with double tags in some instances.
I use The Brain for tagging tasks for a GTD workflow, and end up with a complete mess as items change over time. It is impossible to use tags to control GTD "elevations" (0k tag, 10k tag, and so on). Tags should not be merged,…

Create an API for the Brain
I think an indispensable tool for the Personal Brain would be an API that allows one to use an HTML field to add a parent, child, or jump thought/type to a selected thought.

A whole site print of a plex
I need standard prints from my MacbookAir with my brother printer MFC 9450 CDN.
And i need print´s in OSX-PDF.
The whole plex on one sheet DIN A4 - landscape......Both are not possible.

New Window feature
I want to request the New Window feature, akin to the same feature in MS Office products. I've searched around for a little while for similar suggestions, and found one that is too expansive compared to what I'm requesting (http://thebrain.uservoice.com/forums/4597-thebrain-feature-suggestions/suggestions/96843-open-thoughts-in-separate-windows-save-windows-as). What I'm suggesting might be covered through some alternative feature, but to be sure I wanted to describe it separately.
Currently most users have no need of such a feature, because they're using multiple Brains and are opening multiple instances of TB. But that doesn't take into account single central Brains.

implement a feature where user can sort or filter by number of children, parents, siblings, jump siblings, etc
I'm current drawing a dependency graph on my todos, where thought A is a child of thought B if A needs to be done before B. I want to filter out childless thoughts so I can get a set of todos I need to do before I can do others.

Showing shortcut for every action - learning mode
"An option where you could easily learn shortcuts by getting all the shortcuts whenever you perform an action.
when no shortcut is present it could indicate - "no shortcut for this action - define" And clicking it would allow you to define a new shortcut.
